If companies require a specific skills training day, a course can be written to their specific requirements.
Delivery of Skills Training
The skills training is tutor led and usually run from 10.00 – 16.00 hrs. However there is flexibility to run the sessions over 2 half days if it is difficult for staff to be released from the workplace. Delegates will receive workbooks and handouts; participate in group discussions, question and answer session and action planning. Courses will run with a minimum of 8 maximum of 12 delegates. The training can be conducted on our premises in the centre of Birmingham or in your own company if there is a minimum of 8 staff attending.

Example Training Session– Time Management
At the end of the session the learners will be able to:
- Deal effectively with interruptions
- Organise tasks so that they are better organised, delegated or eradicated
- Set their own specific goals and attain them
Course Content
- To undertake a self-examination and analysis of how you spend your time
- To look at ways of developing successful time management concepts
- To look at your own delegation, organisation, concentration and communication skills
- To examine the role of the procrastinator
- To examine time loss factors and time consumers
- To identify and implement a suitable and effective time strategy

Delivery
This training session consists of group discussions, completion of workbooks, group and individual work. The course will be interactive style and would best suit a group of no more than 12 delegates to allow for greater individual attention.
Overview
From participating in the course delegates will gain awareness of how much of the working day is currently wasted. It will enable them to remain focused on the tasks to be completed and improve personal motivation and business effectiveness.
