IT and Tutor Support (Trainee Assessor)

My main role within Protocol is supporting the IT department although my responsibilities can vary on a day to day basis. My main duties are looking after both our Moodle and Mahara sites, both sites are used for learners to gather and upload various evidence for their qualifications they complete whilst with Protocol. I am also the main marker of ITQ related exams and will help out all tutors with in-house training for ICT when required to do so.

  • Assisting IT Manager
  • Maintaining and updating Moodle / Mahara
  • Marking ICT examinations for both Business Administration and ICT courses
  • Mentoring apprentices during Work Placements and assisting them when needed
  • General up keeping of the ICT and computer technology in the building
  • Supporting with external examinations
  • Looking after all assessor’s e-portfolio’s
  • Supporting tutor’s with in-house training
