I have worked at Protocol for multiple years and during my time here I have completed various apprenticeship qualifications including Business Admin Level 2, Business Administrator Level 3 and Social Media Level 3. I have also complete various small courses including IT User Skills Level 3, First Aid Training etc…
At Protocol we are a small team, so I wanted to complete the Digital Support Technician course to enhance my knowledge of the subject. This has allowed me to be more competent in the various topics which has meant I’ve been able to support staff better with IT related issues.
The Digital Support Technician apprenticeship has boosted my confidence by developing problem solving and communication skills, while also giving me hands-on technical experience that has strengthened my professional growth and career prospects.
The biggest challenge has been adapting quickly to new technologies and troubleshooting unfamiliar issues, which has pushed me to stay resilient and continuously learn on the job.
In the short term, I would like to progress onto Protocol’s Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship Qualification to continue building my leadership skills and experience. Looking further ahead, within the next five years, I see myself moving into management and working towards a senior manager role, where I can take on more responsibility and contribute to shaping and supporting the success of the organisation I work in.
