If you are 19-24, claiming Job Seekers Allowance or are in receipt of any other benefit and not currently on the Work Programme, you may be eligible to undertake the Job Centre Plus Skills Conditionality Programme with us here at Protocol. Skills Conditionality is a 30 hour per week training programme running for a total number of 12 weeks.
Within this 12 week period; Protocol will provide you with training on certain units of your desired qualification, work skills, work experience and Functional Skills training (including Maths Level 1 and 2, English Level 1 and 2 and ICT) if applicable. We will also contact employers on your behalf that may have vacancies available for you to start an apprenticeship with.
We currently have stencils for Introduction to Business Administration, Introduction to IT and Work Skills. Job Centre Plus will still pay you your Jobseekers Allowance and will also cover your travel expenses throughout the 12 week programme.
Our main aim is to help get you signed off Jobseekers Allowance and back into employment.
To find out if you are eligible, we now require you to do the following:- You need to speak to your adviser at your local Job Centre Plus and ask them to look at our LMS references. If you could give my contact number to your JCP adviser and ask them to call me whilst you are there if there are any problems.We need to make sure that you are eligible for the programme before you start.
Once eligible, we will contact you to give you the start date of your programme.
