Who is this course for?

The I.T. User Skills course is for people looking to upskill their general I.T. skills when using Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The course will give you a better understanding of how to effectively navigate around a PC. You’ll have full online resources which will support you from stage one of your training. The online resources must be completed before attending the full workshop.

What are the Benefits?

This upskilling short course allows you to develop new and existing skills that will help create a long-standing career pathway within your chosen industry. Training sessions can be delivered as distance learning via Teams or through locally based workshops. And, at the end of the course you’ll gain a nationally recognised qualification, serving as evidence for the knowledge and skills you have developed.

How Are Qualifications Achieved?

Participants must attend locally based workshops or training sessions via teams (the number of which will be determined at the beginning of the course) and complete an assignment.

How is it funded?

Funding is available for companies within your Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) area. A Training Needs Analysis must be completed first to establish eligibility.
