Protocol Consultancy Services Wins Prestigious Princess Royal Training Award 2025

Protocol Consultancy Services is proud to announce that we are one of 57 organisations across the UK to receive the prestigious Princess Royal Training Awards in 2025. This national recognition celebrates employers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to training, professional development and workplace learning.

Delivered by the City & Guilds Foundation and personally approved by Princess Anne, the awards highlight organisations that use high-quality training to create measurable impact for both their workforce and the wider communities they serve.

Receiving this recognition reinforces Protocol’s reputation as a leading organisation in training, skills development and workforce learning across the UK.

Recognising Excellence in Training and Workforce Development

Protocol received the award in recognition of our Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and internal mentoring programme, which supports the growth of our employees while also delivering tangible benefits to the employers, apprentices and partners we work with.

At Protocol, we believe that investing in staff development leads directly to better outcomes for the organisations and learners we support. Our CPD framework encourages continuous learning, professional progression and collaboration across teams.

By embedding professional development into our organisational culture, we ensure that our staff remain knowledgeable, skilled and equipped to support employers with apprenticeships, workforce development and training solutions.

This commitment to internal development enables Protocol to deliver a high-quality service that strengthens skills across the education and employment sectors.

Celebrating the Achievement in London

Representing Protocol at the awards ceremony were Managing Director Sue Tipton MBE and our Operations Director Craig Higham. They attended the celebration event in London on Tuesday 2 December 2025, alongside organisations from across the UK who are leading the way in workplace training and development.

The ceremony brought together employers from a range of industries who share a common commitment to developing talent, supporting employee growth and strengthening skills across their organisations.

For Protocol, the recognition reflects the dedication and expertise of our entire team.

What the Princess Royal Training Awards Represents

The Princess Royal Training Awards are one of the most respected recognitions for workplace training in the UK. Organisations that receive the award must demonstrate:

  • A strong commitment to employee training and professional development
  • Clear links between learning programmes and organisational success
  • Leadership in workforce skills development
  • A workplace culture that promotes continuous improvement and learning

By achieving this standard, Protocol joins a select group of organisations that are helping to shape the future of training and skills across the UK workforce.

Continuing Our Commitment to Skills and Learning

Winning the Princess Royal Training Award is a significant milestone for Protocol, but it also reinforces our commitment to continue developing our people and improving the services we deliver.

Through ongoing investment in training, mentoring and professional development, we aim to ensure that employers, apprentices and partners benefit from the highest quality support and expertise.

As the demand for skilled talent continues to grow, Protocol will remain focused on supporting businesses, developing apprenticeships and strengthening workforce skills across the UK.

This achievement reflects the collective efforts of our staff, partners and the organisations we work with every day — and we look forward to continuing to make a positive impact through learning and development.
