I had always wanted to work in the property sector, after applying for roles I could see that a lot of them required some experienced. I then decided an apprenticeship would be the only way to get said experience. I came across Protocol and the vacancy at FirstPort and knew that I couldn’t miss this opportunity.
The main challenge I faced was keeping up with my off-the-job study hours alongside my day-to-day responsibilities at work. Balancing both commitments could be demanding at times, especially when workloads increased. However, with the support of Protocol, I was able to manage my time more effectively, gain the guidance I needed and find a balance between my studies and work. This support made a real difference in helping me stay on track and complete my apprenticeship successfully.

Over the next year, my goal is to progress further within the property sector and take on more responsibility in my role. I want to continue developing my knowledge, building my confidence and gaining more hands-on experience to strengthen my understanding of the industry. By doing this, I aim to move into a higher position where I can add more value and continue growing professionally.
Looking ahead to the next five years, I see myself in a successful and well-established position within the property sector. My ambition is to build a strong career, continue developing my skills and take on greater responsibilities, potentially managing my own portfolio or progressing into a senior role.
