Black Country Employees Support in Skills
Protocol recently secured funding through the Black Country LEP and are looking to work with Black Country businesses who are located within the council areas of Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton to develop training plans to identify and tackle skills gaps; helping you to grow your business.
Please find below details with regards to FULLY FUNDED taster training in the Black Country.
Employees Support in Skills is a new initiative for small and medium sized (SME with less than 249 employees) businesses in the Black Country.
It offers fully-funded training and qualifications to support lesser-skilled individuals to improve their career opportunities and their existing skills and knowledge through work-based learning. The Employees Support in Skills is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and co-financed by the Skills Funding Agency. The initiative is delivered by the partners under the overall auspices of the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership.
Would you or your employees be interested in attending a fully funded taster training session?
We are offering one and two day workshops in (Click on the below to access the course overview): -
- Team Leading/Management
- ECDL / IT Tasters (Spreadsheet and Using Email)
- Customer Service Workshop
- Customer Service Workshop (Including Welcome Host Gold)
Protocol are also working on this contract with other training providers from all sectors that may be able to offer training in areas that we do not cater for enabling staff to receive training across all aspects of your organisation including engineering, construction etc.
I am looking to arrange appointments with any employers who may be interested in the scheme which is due to end in August 2017.
I have a Training Needs Analysis document(attached) that would need to be completed by each employer to find out what their current and future need for training is/will be.
All taster training sessions are FULLY FUNDED and will be held at our Training Academy in Birmingham City Centre or at a venue in the Black Country during the daytime over the next few months.
If an employer has more than 5 staff that they would like to train then we may be able to offer the taster sessions on site at their premises providing your have the appropriate training facilities.
Once we have gauged the need for specific training we will look to see if we can offer any of the training that the employer needs and work with them to help up skill their staff through an NVQ or a full intermediate or advanced Apprenticeship. We will also be offering our recruitment services to any employer who is currently looking to employ an Apprentice.
I would be looking to arrange a meeting with you at your premises to discuss in more detail.
Commit now and spare a hour of your time to help shape the future of training and employability in the Black Country. Please call Adrian Hunt on 0121 236 2634 or 07722120204 to arrange an appointment.
